Comments
EVALUATION First, how about a testcase? Does this only occur on solaris sparc or does this error occur on other platforms? Not sure what the jconsole isssue stated in the comments section has to do with this bug. Has the customer tried 1.4.2_05 latest and 1.5.0-beta2 ? Please update bug report with this information as well as a testcase. Will look into this post tiger. ###@###.### 2004-08-17 Crash is in ContiguousSpace::prepare_for_compaction() from JVM_GetCPFieldClassNameUTF+0x4B84 (0xFEDCDEE4) of 1.4.1_02a-b01. It'd better be investigated by GC team first. ###@###.### 2004-08-17 This may be a duplicate of 5090967. Without additional information I'll be closing this bug. See also 5101288. ###@###.### 10/26/04 21:09 GMT As above, since no new information has been forthcoming, we recommend that the customer upgrade to tha latest 1.4.2 release (1.4.2_08) as of this writing. If they are able to reproduce this bug, please reopen the bug. Until then this bug is being closed as "cannot reproduce". I have added 5090967 and 5101288 to the "see also" field; those bugs are both fixed in the latest available 1.4.2 update release, and we believe the customer may actually have run into one of them. ###@###.### 2005-04-22 01:04:32 GMT
