Description
As of May 1, 2004, the following ten countries are now under European Union:

Czech Republic
Estonia
Cyprus
Latvia
Lithuania
Hungary
Malta
Poland
Slovenia
Slovakia

These countries are expected to swith their currencies to EURO in the near future (http://www.ecb.int/press/04/pr040430en.htm). Java runtime needs to accomodate this change.

Comments
EVALUATION We will not fix currencies for those 10 countries at one time, but instead, modify currency for a country at a time when ISO 4217 announces each change.

EVALUATION As soon as the change is in effect, java/util/CurrencyData.properties should be updated accordingly. ###@###.### 2004-05-12
