Description
In the Metal PL&F, a PL&F decorated JFrame maximizes on release of a title bar drag. Also would be handy if Motif and particularly GTK supported decorating frames.

Comments
EVALUATION This report is two separate requests. 1) JFrame maximizes on release... I was unable to reproduce using the MetalWorks demo on Windows NT 4. Perhaps it only happens on certain platforms. 2) Motif and GTK decorated frames... Decorated frames are supported under any Look And Feel (assuming the Window Manager allows it). We provide these decorations for the Metal L&F so that the application can have a consistent look. The other L&Fs that we provide are meant to help the application blend with the look of the native platform. In that case, there is no need for Swing to decorate the frames as the native platform provides the decorations. ###@###.### 2004-01-08 Name: drR10255 Date: 03/02/2004 I cann't reproduce it on JDK1.5.0b40 on Linux Mercury. ======================================================================
