Up to now, ALSA support was not included in the j2se build. That was a preliminary solution to enable the amd64 build on linux. Now that we have ALSA libs and headers for linux-amd64, the Makefile should be updated to activate compilation of Java Sound's ALSA support.

Fixing this bug requires all build machines to be updated with ALSA libs and headers. A separate bug (4958829) tracks updates to the build docs.

EVALUATION Needs testing on actual linux-amd64 machines. The actual Makefile change is trivial. ###@###.### 2003-11-24
