* MLet file could have explicit syntax for comments
  Today the RI allows you to include any garbage outside of <...>.
  Should instead (or as well) support <!-- --> comment syntax.
  Could support a proper XML schema (while continuing to support the
  current non-XML-compatible syntax).

EVALUATION This has been open for six years and there have not been any riots in the streets from people looking for it, so it appears that the current situation is adequate.
