Windows platform (WinNT)

Run the NotepadDemo with Javaws, and creating shortcuts for it on the desktop.

Use IE and go to any website.  Choose view source.  It will try to bring up Javaws notepad demo to open the source and fail with error.

WORK AROUND Remove the notepad demo using the app man. Everything works again.

EVALUATION we should rename the notepad demo to something else. every shortcut named "Notepad" in the desktop will give the same problem. ###@###.### 2002-07-23 this is already fixed on java.sun.com, the notepad demo is now named "Notepad App". The shortcut created is also named "Notepad App". ###@###.### 2002-10-07
