Description
the Application-Name attribute is read from the main jar only, although all jar files without it generate a warning.

o if it is only read from the main jar file, why do all the other files generate warnings was well?

o Is it going to be mandated that this attribute appears in all the jar files?

o If so,it is the same in every file?

Which doesnt seem necessary since the authenticity is already validated via the certificate.

SQE is OK to fix that in 7u51 if fix comes before RDP2

Jitender, please add clear steps to reproduce. Is it a regression?

Request to defer from 7u45: not showstopper at this point in the 7u45 release cycle. Could be confusing to developers. Request to add to 7u51 queue.

Ok I can see that sometimes even with scenarios with Application-Name attribute , we end up showing Publisher as UNKNOWN on native warning dialog. Is this what SIEBEL is complaining about?

I tried the latest siebel applet i.e. http://slc05rxc.us.oracle.com/callcenter_enu I don;t see any Application-Name attribute or (Main-Class attribute) inside the applet main jar. I believe in this case showing UNKNOWN on native dialogs is correct behavior?

warning message is the message we print in java console only, correct ? or is there some other warning in the dialogs we show ? does not look like showstopper to me.
