FULL PRODUCT VERSION : The problem occur with the 6 update 21 version. My version installed is 6 update 20. JRE: java version "1.6.0_20" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_20-b02) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 16.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing) JDK: java version "1.6.0_20" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_20-b02) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 16.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing) ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION : Microsoft Windows [vers��o 6.1.7600] Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bits Portuguese(Brazil) EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION : Intel Core 2 Quad 8200 4 GB RAM A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM : The file jdk-6u21-windows-i586 don't install in Windows 7 64-bit. I get the error in Windows Installer: "Error aplying transformations. Verify if the transformation especified ways are valids." In my system the error display in portuguese: "Erro ao aplicar as transforma����es. Verifique se os caminhos de transforma����o especificados s��o v��lidos." STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM : - Double-click in file jdk-6u21-windows-i586 - Click in YES to permit the installation program to run. - The installation program start and I'm get the error. I'm download jdk-6u21-windows-i586 without download mangers and more than 3 times, my connection with the Internet is 10 Mbits/s. It isn't a download problem. EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR : EXPECTED - I'm expect that the JDK install sucessfully, what don't occur. ACTUAL - The JDK don't install. ERROR MESSAGES/STACK TRACES THAT OCCUR : "Error aplying transformations. Verify if the transformation especified ways are valids."
