A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When a Java update is installed, a new entry is added to the 'installed programs list' for every update. This is strange and not helpful. The update should be silent, imho.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
install an old version
let it update
open the installed programs list


REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

EVALUATION This is no longer the case after 6u10. Every auto-update now does a patch-in-place and you are only left with one JRE.
