EVALUATION Introduced with the b43 fix "4356282: RFE: JDK should support OpenType/CFF fonts" Which also caused "6817112: JDK7: deterioration in rendering of TrueType fonts - notably the JDK's Lucida fonts." The fix for that latter bug also resolves this one so I am closing this as a duplicate.
