JDK-8176366 :
Description
As part of our JDK modularization effort we recently examined the portfolio of tools and the dependencies of each of our tools.

One of the tools examined was serialver and it was surprising to see that it has a -show option to bring up a GUI to prompt for the class to examine.

This bug is submitted to re-examine this legacy tool. Minimally the -show option should be dropped as it's legacy and not needed. This would also make the tool easier to test.

Setting the fixVersion to tbd_major for now. It would be nice to get this done in 9 if anyone has time to pickup this tool.
