Description
The jcmd man page is missing on the MacOS build. Both in the bundles and binaries folder.
Comments
Added the jcmd man page to the bsd directory in the openjdk repo. The closed repo does not have the necessary structure. We are waiting for the infrastructure team to add build support for 7u45 in the closed repo, they will copy the directory with the man pages (see JDK-8021311).

This will be fixed for OpenJDK as part of JDK-8021008. I am waiting for the phase 2 approval. But I can't find the directory for Mac nroff sources in the closed repo.

I have no idea which category would be suitable, but it's clearly not hotspot. Perhaps Sowmya Kannan in the docs team can help you.

Any suggestions on what I should do with this?
09-07-2013

I don't think hotspot/docs is the right category for the docs team to see this.
09-07-2013

The docs team handles the contents of the man page files.

There is a jcmd binary for MacOS, so there should be a man page too. Who should create the man page source?
09-07-2013

There is no jcmd man page source file for bsd/macosx, only for linux and solaris.
