There was no special reason for this fix. I've just picked one from the list of unassigned bugs. I didn't realize that the kernel is going to be removed altogether before pushing the fix.

I see that this backport record was automatically crated with FixVersion=6u60 by hgupdate. The master issue's fix was planned for a later release.

How this issue with 'Closed' status for 6u60 ? We've not integrated this fix into 6u60 b01 or b02.

All >= 6u51 deliverables will only be accessible (AFAIK) offline via My Oracle Support (MOS) private(from Stephen Fitch mail). 6u60 kernel bundle will not be staged, can't verify.
