This issue has recently been observed (once again) in 7u9 and the performance team would like the fix to be backported to jdk7.[The fix has been delivered for jdk8b42]

So I'm closing this backport issue as a duplicate of 7143858.

The action associated with this CR might be a nop. The changes that fix the original CR (7143858) are already in hs24 - which supposed to the JVM for jdk7u12. So as soon as a sub-CR/backport for 7143858 indicates that the changes have been integrated - this CR can be closed.
