Description
This CR is to keep track of further consideration for the fix of CR# 6641731. The preferable and consistent way is to have 32-bit Java control panel shown under "32-bit Control Panel Items"
of 64-bit Windows Vista.
In 6u6-b02, 32-bit Java control panel shown under 64-bit Control Panel of 64-bit Windows Vista.
During dirty install of 32-bit 6 JDK over 32-bit 5.0 JDK, I have observed the Java icon disappear from 32-bit Control Panel to appear in 64-bit panel.
So it is train to train regression and I am marking as such.

What is the the clear distinction between this CR and 6641731?
I understand now that 6641731 refers to 6u10 (32-bit) behviour where no Java icon appears in either Conrol panel with 32-bit JRE install.
CR#6641731: 64-bit Vista users can't locate Java control panel (JCP) icon at all (either under 32 or 64 Windows control panel). This applies to 32-bit jre (6u4-b03+, 6u5, 6u6-b01 and 6u10-b05+). In 6u6-b02, there is a fix and such users can locate JCP under 64-bit Windows control panel. Due to an architectural restriction at this time, JCP can't be registered under 32-bit Windows control panel (of 64-bit Vista) and hence this CR (#6680707) is to track the further progress.
