locale: de
os: win XP pro SP2
hardware: intel x86

steps to reproduce:
launch installer
select installation directory containing non-ascii characters, e.g /��������/j2sdk1.4.2_16

you will get error message attached as error1.png. After clicking ok, you will get error2.png and then error3.png.
