Description
When turning on Numlock in jEdit, Enter, Backspace and cursor arrows keys stop responding. Other keys work as expected. We did some investigation and find out that the issue happens only with Xorg X server. E.g. on SPARC machines keys workd correctly. Feel free to change the category if it is some kind of X server or Java problem.

Comments
EVALUATION Closing as a duplicate; should work with property set in the environment; unconditionally fixed in Mustang.

EVALUATION When I set the variable to false like in the comments, bug does not appear.

EVALUATION Sorry I don't know which version of java is this. If 1.5.0, this is perhaps a duplicate of 6173972. Could you please set an environment variable _AWT_USE_TYPE4_PATCH=false? A fix was risky and therefore conditional. I don't know about release notes: who does maintain them and how to put there this actually XKB-related information?
