Description
Using Motif L& F, the file types filter drop-down 
combobox cannot be navigated via the keyboard unless it 
is first navigated via the mouse (then everything
will behave ok until the application is shut down and restarted).

If we do not use a mouse, we can press DOWN-ARROW to open the combobox
drop-down, but when there are multiple entries to scroll through,
subsequent DOWN-ARROW presses do not work.  Therefore, you cannot use the
keyboard to select a different file filter entry.

Again, RETURN key will not select the option in filter-combo.

EVALUATION The problem with navigation has been fixed as of 1.5 (4710726) and the problem with the ENTER key has been fixed in 1.6 (4924758). Since a fix for both problems is desirable in a 1.4.2 update, here's what I'll do: - Close this bug as a duplicate of 4710726. - Open a SubCR of 4710726 for 1.4.2_08. - Open a SubCR of 4924758 for 1.5.0_03 - Open a SubCR of 4924758 for 1.4.2_08. I'll take care of the 1.5.0_03 backport and CTE can investigate the 1.4.2_08 backports. ###@###.### 2005-2-03 17:49:13 GMT
