A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Certain key combinations cannot be entered from a Danish keyboard.

Atleast '|' (alt gr-?) nothing is inserted and ',' (on numerical keyboard) is inserted at a 'square' [decimal separator for danish localization].

Both work perfectly in a terminal window.



STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Start the NotePad demo, like:
java -jar <path to install dir>/demo/jfc/Notepad/Notepad.jar

Both work perfectly in a terminal window.

This bug can be reproduced always.

EVALUATION We should attempt to get this working with XAWT. ###@###.### 2003-12-03 In fact, on my Ultra with Type5 Danish keyboard and Solaris 10 and Danish locale, I cannot get this '|' on terminal:-). I can in Text Editor application, though, and in C locales. JDK1.5 doesn't work in other locales but Danish; it does work in Danish, though; Mustang does work in both. I'm marking it as fixed as it clearly under 4360364 umbrella. ###@###.### 2005-06-20 12:15:13 GMT
