Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build Blackdown-1.3.0-FCS, mixed mode)

Sequencer.getTickLength() and Sequencer.getMicrosecondLength() return the length
of the current sequence. The documentation does not specify what happens if
there is not [a] sequence set. The current behaviour is to return 0.
