Locale support for Vietnam should be added to the JDK.  This includes:

- Adding a locale data file for Vietnam (easy)
- Enhancing TextLayout and JTextComponent to handle the reordering
issues required to present Vietnamese text properly.
- Possibly providing input method support.

This is very low priority; I'm filing it just for completeness.

EVALUATION Vietnamese should be added. john.oconner@Eng 2000-02-18 We won't provide this locale in the standard J2RE. Instead, we're planning to provide pluggable locale support interfaces that allow third parties to implement this and other locales.
