Description
The border of many components differs from the Win95 look. This is most noticeable for panels, text areas, scroll areas. For instance, the Win95 UI often uses borders of thickness 2, with the inner line set to a light gray and the outer line set to white. This allows the highlighted border sides to be visible even when the inner pane is white. Of course, these colors depend on the current system colors settings.

EVALUATION For the Windows2000 project for merlin, we will do a careful visual audit to ensure a more exact emulation of the pixelization of the components. We'll fix any border inconsistencies as a part of that effort. amy.fowler@Eng 2000-03-17 This has been fixed as part of the windows update 4290973, so, I'm closing this as a duplicate. scott.violet@eng 2001-06-26
