fix has been backed out from 6.0 Although the functionality used to work in 1.4.2 and could be considered a regression, the implementation in 1.4.2 was too lax and was not parsing URIs correctly according to the PKIX standard. Therefore, we have removed the fix from JDK 6 and will not do the backport to 5. The CRL that the customer is using is not PKIX compliant.
